The Croatian Traditional Folkdance Ensemble and Association (Budapest, Hungary) The Croatian Traditional Folkdance Ensemble and Association (Budapest, Hungary) was founded in 1996. The members of the Ensemble are Croats living in Budapest: Sokaces, Bunjevaces and Croatians from Gradistye and Zala county, and Hungarian friends. The common goal of the Ensemble is the preservation and dissemination of rich Hungaro-Croatian folk dances, folk music and traditional customs. The Ensemble was on stage both in Croatia and in several settlements inhabited by Croatians in Hungary, several time and performed at some folkfestivals on abroad (Ohrid in North-Macedonia, Hercegnovi in Montenegro).
The Association and Ensemble won the Diploma of Excellency in 2002 at Pécsvárad Nationwide Qualification.
In the year of 2022 won the national honour of 'Pro Cultura Minoritatum Hungariae' and was rated 'Excellent' in the national qualification system 'KÓTA'.
